I love the new 'Surfaced' app (yes, I built it). Whenever I go to an exhibition, I just scan a label and get a great summary of the artist. The app is called 'Surfaced'. The dataset of all artists is like a giant sea of data but this app surfaces artists who have been recorded as a finalist in at least one Australian art prize. The app covers 36k finalist records from the past decade for 13.4k artists. This number is growing every day as we continue to update it.
